WEDNESDAY 22ND APRIL. 7.30PM. RIBERA DEL DUERO TASTING

Set high on the northern plateau of Spain, Ribera del Duero follows the winding Duero River through Castilla y León, with vineyards sitting at dramatic altitudes of up to 900 metres. Hot days, cold nights, and tough growing conditions shape wines of remarkable intensity, freshness, and structure.

Although winemaking here stretches back centuries, Ribera del Duero is a relatively young appellation, gaining DO status in 1982. Since then, it has become synonymous with world-class Tempranillo (locally known as Tinto Fino), producing wines that balance ripe fruit with savoury depth and serious ageing potential.

Join us on Bank Holiday Sunday for a relaxed afternoon celebrating all things sparkling.

Our Springtime Sparklers tasting will showcase a wide range of styles from across the sparkling wine world — from crisp and refreshing to richer, more complex expressions. Expect a mix of familiar favourites and a few lesser-known gems, giving you the chance to explore just how diverse sparkling wine can be.

Our sparkling themes are usually quite popular and this one's on a bank holiday weekend so book early to avoid disappointment. Due to the higher price of some of the wines being shown, tickets are £39pp.

Following the success of our Wine Olympics in 2024, we're back with another global showdown — this time inspired by the World Cup.

We'll be pitting wine-producing nations that have reached the FIFA World Cup Finals against each other, with each wine competing for your vote.

Taste, compare, and decide your winners as we crown Brigitte's ultimate Wine World Cup champion.
